This event showcases Marlborough’s world class wines and finest gourmet cuisine along with some of New Zealand’s top entertainment. All showcased at one location on the site of Pernod Ricard’s historic Brancott Vineyard in the heart of Marlborough’s renowned wine region.

Marlborough is the region surrounding Blenheim, at the top of the South Island.

This one day event will be held on Thursday 6th October 2011 and is a unique opportunity for visitors to Marlborough to experience a wide range of local wines and gourmet cuisine from one of New Zealand’s most stunning regions.

This unique and memorable event has been put together by the organisers of the internationally recognised Marlborough Wine Festival which is now in its 29th year and is an annual sell-out event enjoyed by crowds of over 8,000 people each year.

On arrival guests will be given a complimentary tasting glass and invited to sample from a wide selection of Marlborough’s premium wines alongside the province’s gourmet cuisine. While experiencing the tastes that make Marlborough unique, guests will be able to soak up the stunning beauty of the surrounding landscape and enjoy the sounds of some of New Zealand’s top musical talent.

This event is supported by local chefs and wine experts who have been tasked with creating memorable taste combinations for guests in the way of food and wine matches, and culinary master classes which guests will be able to observe on the day.

The ticket price ($55) includes entry to the site, a tasting glass and all entertainment. To enjoy the wide range of cuisine and wine on display guests will need to visit exhibitors’ food and wine sites at one of the three marquees to purchase.

With lots on offer this will be a day of food, wine and entertainment with plenty of room for sitting back and enjoying the atmosphere, or getting involved and learning more about what this region has to offer.
